Founded in 2015, Presidential Exteriors has quickly grown from a start-up with four employees to a leading exterior home remodeler in Maryland and Virginia, with 190 employees and 150 contractors working on two dozen projects daily.
Key to that rapid, sustainable growth has been their focus on employee experience, development of internal processes, and creating an ever-evolving, custom tech stack that can handle their scale.
One size rarely fits all — especially with tech — and they quickly outgrew multiple photo, project management, and sales tools. They worked with a developer to create a custom system built on Salesforce that fit their ideal workflow and incorporated the best tech for each function rather than limiting their processes around software limitations.

The Solution
User-friendly photo documentation that easily integrates
Photos were always essential to their process, but capturing, uploading, and organizing them was a pain. So those photos often sat in folders and on phones, taking up space.
Now, with CompanyCam, the Presidential team puts their photo documentation to work from the moment a team member steps onto a property. The photos that reps capture and mark up are then pulled from CompanyCam to Salesforce, their quoting and sales tools, and even their customer-facing mobile app where customers can keep track of the progress of their roofing, exterior, or window projects.
Install and warranty crews appreciate being able to look at a job before they arrive on site, so they know what they’re getting into, what additional supplies and materials are needed, and what they are supposed to work and not work on — all crucial to maximizing efficiency and minimizing headaches.

Organized, accessible photos that can be used company-wide
CompanyCam’s Tag feature is a favorite of sales representatives because it allows them to pull up all products tagged Hardie, for example, to show customers all the recent jobs in their neighborhood where they used Hardie siding and what it looks like installed.
In addition to more consistent and better-organized job site documentation, Presidential’s operations team has utilized CompanyCam to set expectations for sales reps, processors, and project managers and hold them accountable.
