As your company’s first point of contact with a potential customer, you have a lot to manage. You’re meeting leads, walking properties, building bids, communicating with your production team, and keeping deals moving.
CompanyCam keeps the details connected to the job so you can spend more time selling and give your crews the information they need once the work begins.
Build Bids in Minutes
Speed matters when you’re putting together a bid. CompanyCam helps you capture the details during your walkthrough and turn that information into something you can share with a lead.
Open or create a Project and start your walkthrough. Use Walkthrough Note to walk and talk your way around the job site. Narrate what you see as you go, and CompanyCam AI organizes your photos and voice notes into an editable Document you can review and share.
As you capture photos, add details that can help you build the bid and prepare your production team:
- Tags. Keep the Project organized and make relevant photos easier to find later.
- Descriptions. Type a description or use Quick Caption to dictate what a photo shows. That context can also help CompanyCam AI create more useful project documentation.
- Annotations. Add text, shapes, and measurements to call attention to specific areas and give your production team more information about the work ahead.
Once you have the details documented, you can turn them into a report.
Choose a Document Template or build a document with the photos and information you want to share. Add photo descriptions, adjust the layout, and review the details before sending it to your lead.
Pro Tip: Do you use other software to generate bids? We integrate with dozens of CRMs and sales tools to help you quickly integrate your photos with the platforms you already use.
Seal the Deal
Customers want to know what they’re paying for and what to expect once the work starts. The photos and project details you capture in CompanyCam give you something concrete to walk through with them before they approve the job.
You can also show customers how you’ll document their project and keep them updated throughout the work. That gives them a clear view of how your team communicates from the initial walkthrough through project completion.
Timelines & Guest Access
Timelines and Guest Access give customers a way to follow along once work begins. You can choose how much access makes sense based on the project and how your team works with customers.
Timelines provide a simple way to share project photos with customers. Send a timeline link they can access to see the photos you’ve chosen to share as the project moves forward.
For customers who need to participate more directly, give them Guest Access. Guests can add photos and comments to the Project, which can be useful for longer jobs or projects where you need regular input from the customer.
AI Tools
CompanyCam's AI tools can turn the information captured on a Project into documentation you can use during the sales process and after the job begins. The more context you capture through photos, descriptions, and voice input, the more information the AI has to work with.
Daily Log uses selected project photos and their available context to create an editable record of the day. You can use Daily Logs to document completed work and next steps when the captured information supports them.
AI Summary creates a concise recap using project photos and available context. Use it to give customers or your team an organized overview without building the document from scratch.
Proposals, Invoices, & Payments
CompanyCam gives you built-in sales and billing tools to move a customer from proposal to payment while keeping the details connected to the project. Build proposals, collect approvals, send invoices, and accept payments without moving the job information into a separate workflow.
Build and send Proposals
Create a Proposal with the project details your customer needs to review. Add scope, photos, files, terms, and pricing when applicable, then send the Proposal directly to the customer.
If your team uses Price Book, you can add saved services and pricing to a Proposal when needed. You can also add a signature or request and collect a deposit directly from the Proposal with built-in payment processing.
Send Invoices and get paid
Once it’s time to bill the customer, create an Invoice from the Project or from an accepted Proposal. Itemize the charges, add saved Price Book items when applicable, and send the Invoice to your customer.
Customers can pay directly through CompanyCam using available payment methods, including card and ACH bank transfer. For in-person payments, Tap to Pay lets you accept a card or digital wallet from a compatible phone without a separate card reader.
Because the Invoice and payment stay connected to the job, your team can see payment status without tracking down a separate transaction or asking the customer for an update.
Collect customer signatures
Add a digital signature to a Proposal or other supported Document when you need customer approval. You can request and track signatures through CompanyCam or collect a signature while you’re with the customer using mobile signing.
That gives you a record of the customer’s approval alongside the rest of the project documentation your team will use to complete the work.
Kick Off The Project
You’ve got a new customer. Now you can give production the documentation and context they need to take over the job.
- Start the conversation. Mention your team in the Project conversation to let them know you closed the deal. Add comments to specific photos when production needs more context.
- Upload your documentation. Double-check that important photos, videos, files, and customer documents are uploaded to the Project so the team can find them in one place.
- Create Before & Afters. Use CompanyCam’s Before & After tool to show the finished work alongside where the project started. Share the finished image with your customer or use it to show future leads what your team can do.
Pro Tip: Tag your before photos when you capture them so they’re easy to find once the project is complete and you’re ready to create the Before & After.
Show Off Your Best Work
Photos from completed projects give future customers real examples of your work. CompanyCam helps you turn the documentation your crews already capture into proof you can use during future sales conversations.
You can use completed project photos to support review requests, build your portfolio, and give potential customers examples of similar work in their area.
Reviews
A strong review can give potential customers another reason to choose your company. Ask for one when the project wraps up and the work is still fresh in the customer’s mind.
CompanyCam lets you request a Google review from the app. Add a message, attach jobsite photos, and send the request by text, email, or QR code.
Portfolio
Your completed projects can also help with the next sale. Portfolios give potential customers a way to see examples of your work using photos already stored in CompanyCam.
Use the Showcase Map to show completed jobs near a potential customer, or add a Showcase Gallery to your website so visitors can browse past work. As your team documents more projects, you have more examples available to use during sales conversations.
Marketing Suite
CompanyCam's Marketing Suite turns project photos into content you can use to keep your business visible online. Your team can use photos from real jobs for social content and Google Business Profile updates.
The Google Business Profile connection gives you another way to put recent project photos in front of people searching for contractors in your area. The work your crews document can support your marketing and give future leads more examples to review before they contact your team.
