Learn how to add more context to your jobsite photos as you capture them in CompanyCam. Quick Caption gives you several ways to document what you see in the field and keep those details connected to the right photo and project.
- Add Quick Captions while taking photos: Open a project, launch the CompanyCam camera, and add descriptions directly from the camera screen as you capture each photo.
- Type or dictate photo descriptions: Enter notes with your keyboard or use the microphone to dictate details about completed work, measurements, conditions, or other project information.
- Annotate jobsite photos: Add circles, lines, stickers, and other markups to call attention to specific areas of a photo and provide additional visual context.
- Capture measurements and details: Add measurements and supporting information to photos so important jobsite details stay connected to the visual record.
- Use Quick Caption offline: Dictate notes when you don’t have an internet connection. CompanyCam processes the transcription and saves it as the photo description once you’re back online.
- Review and edit descriptions: Open saved photos after leaving the camera screen to review existing descriptions or make updates as project details change.
