Winter is the perfect season to set aside some time to do short- and long-term planning, audit your operations…
And make sure that you’re up to speed on everything going on in your CompanyCam account!
While you have extra time in your day, you should do these five things in CompanyCam. These are in no particular order of importance because you should just plan on doing all of them 🫵!
Connect Available Integrations ✔️
CompanyCam does a lot of things well. But we don’t do everything it takes to operate a growing business.
That’s why we’ve built more than 50 integrations. These include links with CRMs, field service management systems, and sales and billing apps to help you streamline your day-to-day operations.
Now is the time to connect and test your integrations to ensure they work how you expect them to. Once the busy season rolls around, you’ll already have a process in place and more time to focus on the jobs rolling in.
In addition to external builds, our free browser extension and Google Calendar integrations can immediately impact your photo and calendar management.
Why do integrations matter? You don’t make money by sitting in the office doing busy work. So let the power of automation do it for you. In fact, a CompanyCam user increased year-over-year revenue by 85% while only increasing overhead by 39%, thanks largely to automation.
CompanyCam Signatures ✔️
Speaking of increasing revenue and decreasing overhead, our digital Signatures feature can help you do just that.
Every job needs sign-offs; you shouldn’t pay a ton to get them. Signatures allows you to request and sign documents via email or in the app.
Check out Premium ✔️
If you want to level up your productivity this year, consider upgrading to Premium. Our all-access tier unlocks a handful of features that will simplify the work happening on your job sites. Take a peek at a couple of the features:
Templates for Projects, Checklists, Documents, and Reports
If you follow the same steps (or want the same steps followed) on every job, templates are for you. You can use templates to auto-populate all new projects with a clear outline of the checklists and documents that your team in the field will need to complete the job to the standards you’ve set.
These work with integrations, too! Templates will still apply to your project if you prefer to make CompanyCam projects from an integration.
Dual Camera Mode
CompanyCam’s dual camera mode lets you simultaneously record video with the front and back-facing phone cameras. These are perfect for sales walkthroughs, providing clients with project updates, completing final walkthroughs for clients who can’t join you in person, or creating a social media-ready video for marketing.
This feature is only available on iOS devices. But as soon as the Android camera API opens up, we’ll work to get this functionality added there.
You’ll also unlock the ability to add your logo to images and record up to 10 minutes of video at a time.
Attend Classes & Webinars ✔️
One of the best ways to stay updated with everything in the app is to attend our weekly classes and webinars.
Our classes are the perfect place for anyone wanting to get a refresher on the basics or dive deeper into features and functionality. The next best thing is to catch the replays on our classes page or YouTube.
Webinars are where you can learn tips and tricks from industry experts and hear real-world experiences from other CompanyCam users. We bring in a wide range of experts, from coaches and consultants to niche tradespeople and our in-house experts.
If you want some 1‑on‑1 tutoring…
Schedule a Training with Your CSM ✔️
Have questions about anything mentioned above or your account settings? Schedule a training with your customer success representative.
They will help you maximize our features, set up integrations, and demonstrate new features like Pages.
To set up a training with your CSM, just email them, and they’ll find a time that works for you both. If you’re unsure who your rep is, email success@companycam.com and our team will connect you.
After completing the list, we know you’ll better grasp everything you can do with our app and how to apply it throughout your business.
