Your project photos already show the work your business does every day. Marketing Suite turns those photos into content you can use across social media, Google, your website, and customer review requests.
Instead of starting with a blank post or searching through old project folders for photos, you can build marketing content from work your team has already documented in CompanyCam.
This guide walks through how to create and schedule social posts, update your Google Business Profile, showcase completed projects, request reviews, and track content performance from one place.
Connect your marketing accounts to CompanyCam
You’ll find Marketing Suite under the Marketing tab in the left-hand toolbar on the web. The first time you open it, CompanyCam prompts you to connect the accounts you want to manage.
You can connect Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok, X, and Google. You can connect everything during setup or start with your social accounts and link your Google Business Profile later from your settings.
Once your accounts are connected, you can use Marketing Suite to:
- Create and publish social media content from project photos
- Manage your Google Business Profile and respond to reviews
- Build project showcases for your portfolio and website
- Request customer reviews using photos from completed projects
- Schedule content and review post analytics
Manage your Google Business Profile
Connecting your Google Business Profile creates a two-way sync between Google and CompanyCam. You can manage business information directly from CompanyCam, including your hours, services, service areas, description, contact information, and business categories.
You can also respond to Google reviews from CompanyCam. If your business has multiple locations or franchise territories, you can connect each profile and switch between locations from the same menu.
Keeping your profile current and publishing project updates gives potential customers more information when they find your business through local search. Your Google Business Profile can also help customers see recent work, read reviews, and learn more about the services you offer before contacting you.
Turn completed projects into showcases
Most of the content you create in Marketing Suite starts with a showcase. A showcase combines a project’s photos and details into content you can publish across your marketing channels.
To create one, open a project and select Showcase this project. CompanyCam can also surface projects from the Marketing Suite dashboard, giving you a list of recent jobs that are ready to turn into marketing content.
From there, the AI Assistant selects project photos and drafts a title and caption. You can review the content, swap photos, edit the copy, and update details such as the project type and materials before publishing.
A showcase can be used across:
- Social media accounts
- Your Google Business Profile
- Your CompanyCam portfolio site
- A showcase gallery or map embedded on your website
This gives you a repeatable way to use job photos in your marketing while keeping the content tied to real projects your business completed.
Create social media posts from job photos
Once your showcase is ready, you can publish it to your connected social channels. CompanyCam generates a separate caption for each platform so the content fits the channel where it will appear.
You can also choose the format for each post, including an image, carousel, or reel. For reels, you can edit templates and add background music from a library of royalty-free options available in CompanyCam.
This makes the photos your team already captures part of your social media content. A roof replacement, remodel, landscaping project, or other completed job can become customer-facing content without rebuilding the post from scratch for every platform.
Schedule social media content in advance
You can publish a showcase immediately or schedule it for a specific date and time. When the scheduled time arrives, CompanyCam publishes the content to the channels you selected.
Scheduling lets you prepare multiple posts during one working session and spread them across the coming weeks. If you want to build a more consistent posting plan, these social media marketing ideas for contractors can help you decide which types of project content to share.
After you create a showcase, you can find it under the Showcases tab in the Marketing section. Each showcase appears as published, scheduled, or draft, and you can return later to make edits or publish existing content to another channel.
Track social media performance
Once your posts are live, CompanyCam shows performance data for your published content. You can review metrics such as views and engagement without opening each individual social platform.
These analytics can help you see which projects, photos, and post formats get the most attention. You can use those results to guide the types of social media content you create from future projects.
Your existing showcases also remain available in CompanyCam. If a project performed well on one channel, you can return to the showcase and publish it to additional connected accounts.
Build a portfolio from completed projects
Every showcase you publish also appears on a portfolio site hosted by CompanyCam. Your portfolio gives prospective customers another way to see examples of completed work and the types of projects your business handles.
You can also add a showcase gallery or interactive showcase map to your existing website. Both options provide an embed code that you add to your site, allowing visitors to browse completed projects or see where you’ve worked.
For contractors serving specific neighborhoods or service areas, a project map can give prospective customers nearby examples of your work. True Fence, for example, uses its portfolio map to show completed projects and help customers explore work in their area.
Request Google reviews from customers
Marketing Suite also lets you request reviews using photos from a customer’s project. From the Reviews section, select Request review, choose the project, select the photos you want to share, and write a message for the customer.
Before sending the request, you can preview the page the customer will receive. The customer opens the link, sees your message and project photos, and can continue to Google to leave their review.
Google doesn’t automatically attach the project photos to the customer’s review. Customers can download the photos from the review request and upload them when submitting their Google review.
Reviews can play a major role in how customers evaluate home service businesses through search. Learning more about the impact of Google reviews can help you build review requests into your process after completed jobs.
Request reviews from the job site
You can also request reviews from the CompanyCam mobile app. This includes a QR code option that lets customers open the review request while you’re together at the job site.
Giving customers access to the request while the completed project is fresh can make the process easier to follow. You can walk them through the QR code, share the project photos they can use, and direct them to the appropriate review page.
Once reviews come in, you can view and respond to them from CompanyCam. You can also edit previous replies, giving your team one place to manage reviews and other marketing activity.
Put your project photos to work
Your team already captures photos that show completed projects, progress, materials, and the work customers hired you to do. Marketing Suite gives you tools to turn that existing project documentation into content customers can find across social media, Google, and your website.
With CompanyCam, you can build showcases, schedule posts, maintain your Google Business Profile, request reviews, and track content performance from the same place you manage your project photos. That keeps your marketing connected to the real work your business completes every day.
