Like you, we’re resolving to be more efficient and connected in 2024. And what better way to do that than kicking things off with a special edition newsletter focused on all the latest and greatest CompanyCam integrations?

Google Calendar Integration
In December, we launched a two-way integration with Google Calendar. Once connected, you can easily create Calendar events from CompanyCam, including important project details like project name, location, and notes.
If it makes more sense for you to start in Google Calendar, you can create a CompanyCam project from a Calendar event with the details in the invite.
Best of all, you can add all your team’s calendars so they know where and when to be.
Why use it? If you don’t have a field service management/dispatching tool or want an easy way to create appointments on software you’re already comfortable with. It’s also easy to add a customer’s email to an event so they know when to expect you.
Pro tip: Some early adopters of the Google Calendar + CompanyCam integration have found that creating a new shared, color-coded GCal helps keep appointments and appointment types more organized across their company.
QuickBooks Online Integration
Right before the holidays, we launched part 1 of our QuickBooks Online integration!
When a new Customer or Invoice is made in QuickBooks Online, a CompanyCam project is created using those details. Invoices added to QuickBooks will also sync to the Documents section of the project in CompanyCam.
As we said, this is part 1. Stay tuned to our blog and your inbox as we open up even more features and functionality between QuickBooks and CompanyCam.
Why use it? Because you’re most likely using both of these platforms on their own. By integrating them, you’ll no longer have to keep downloading and uploading docs from QuickBooks to desktop to CompanyCam to desktop to QuickBooks.
Pro tip: Use CompanyCam Signatures to quickly get the sign-offs you need on the documents and invoices added to your project from QuickBooks.

ConstructionClock
If there’s one thing we love more than a CamelCase company name, it’s an efficient job site.
ConstructionClock is a powerful automated time-tracking tool that automatically clocks crews in and out of job sites and provides real-time updates.
With the ConstructionClock + CompanyCam integration, projects created in ConstructionClock will generate a matching project in CompanyCam. From there, photos will sync back and forth, giving everyone easy access to the important project details and data.
Zapier
We made more project information available for automations in Zapier! Now you can build Zaps using Name, Phone, and Email Address.
These attributes are essential to creating systems that have “performing well” built into them. By using contact info in Zaps, you can reduce the number of times you have to copy and paste or retype customer info in the different platforms you use, which leads to fewer clerical mistakes.

Chrome Browser Extension
