Beam handles your estimates, invoices, subcontractor payments, and back-office financials. CompanyCam captures what’s happening on site.
The Beam and CompanyCam integration connects both platforms automatically — so the photos and files your crew captures in the field are available inside every Beam project, ready to support invoices, payments, and billing decisions before anyone has to ask for them.
How the CompanyCam + Beam Integration Works
Once you connect Beam and CompanyCam, the integration automatically:
- Creates a matching Beam project whenever a new CompanyCam project is created.
- Syncs all photos and files added to the CompanyCam project to the corresponding Beam project, where they’re viewable in the CompanyCam tab.
- Keeps edited photos updated — if a photo is annotated or modified in CompanyCam, the updated version syncs to Beam automatically.
- Adds a deep link inside Beam that opens the CompanyCam project directly, giving your back-office team one-click access to the full job site record.
Stop Billing From Memory. Start Billing From Proof.
Most billing disputes happen because the invoice says one thing and the customer remembers another. When your invoices are backed by timestamped job site photos sitting right inside Beam, there’s nothing to dispute.
Your crew documents what they find, what they complete, and what conditions existed at every stage. Your back-office team pulls those photos into the billing workflow without making a single call to the field. The result is an invoice that tells the full story — and gets paid faster because of it.
Pay Subs Based on What You Can Actually See
Subcontractor payments are one of the most common sources of back-office headaches in construction. Someone claims a phase is complete. The GC isn’t sure. Nobody has photos. The payment gets held up while people trade messages trying to confirm what happened on site.
With CompanyCam photos syncing automatically to every Beam project, your back-office team can verify subcontractor progress visually before releasing payment. No guesswork, no he-said-she-said, no waiting for someone to drive out and check. The documentation is already in Beam the moment the crew uploads it.
A Financial Record That Reflects What Actually Happened
Construction financials are only as accurate as the documentation behind them. When a project goes over budget, a change order gets contested, or an insurance claim needs to be supported, the photos in your Beam project are what you point to.
Every CompanyCam photo is timestamped and geotagged at the moment of capture — automatically. That means your Beam financial record isn’t just numbers. It’s a verified account of what was done, where, and when.
For contractors managing both residential and commercial work across multiple active projects, that level of documentation is what keeps billing accurate and disputes short.
