Tl;dr

Cycle this. Cooldown that. Our engineers and app designers always work to add new features and integrations and make existing ones easier to use.

If you’ve used CompanyCam for any amount of time, you already know there are tons of valuable features.

But if you’re new to the app, you should give these popular features a go.

1. Checklists

Checklists (formerly to-do lists) have quickly become an essential part of our users’ standard operating procedures.

Your crews in the field will love them because their tasks are laid out for them right in CompanyCam, instead of in their head or on a piece of paper.

This means there’s no switching apps or sorting through text threads to find instructions, reducing the chance of communication breakdowns over what was supposed to happen and what happened.

Team members who are not on-site each day like them too. Checklists can be set up so that a photo is required for a task to be checked off. This allows those off-site to view progress as it’s happening and ensures consistent communication between the office and the field.

Completed checklists can even be exported to PDFs if you need to print or send them to someone outside of your account.

2. Showcases

You asked for an easier way to publish projects on your website. Our product team answered by launching CompanyCam showcases in the fall of 2021.

If you haven’t installed showcases, you’re missing out. Here’s why:

They’re efficient

Showcases save you from doing double the work to get your photos on your website from your CompanyCam account. No more downloading and re-uploading. Simply select the photos and details you want to show up for the project, and it quickly updates the showcase on your website.

They’re sexy

Well, as sexy as a widget can be. Potential customers will appreciate how easy showcases are to navigate. You can include info like project type, products used, and location to help your website visitors start picturing how their completed project will look.

They’re transparent

Any contractor can post a photo of a completed project. But the real beauty of showcases is their ability to show off a project from start to finish. This unique look at the entire scope of the project shows that you’ve got nothing to hide and previews what it’s like to work with you.

To get started, all you have to do is install a bit of code. We’re more than happy to help out with that, too.

3. Integrations

It takes a lot of different tools to keep your business running. That’s why we’re consistently working to improve our API and make integrations that are easy to use.

Some of our most popular integrations:

  • JobNimbus. All photos you take in CompanyCam will sync to JobNimbus instantly, and all jobs created in JobNimbus will instantly sync to CompanyCam.
  • Jobber. Use your CompanyCam photos in requests, quotes, and jobs in Jobber.
  • CompanyCam Chrome Extension. Our team built an easy-to-use browser extension for Chrome, Brave, and Edge browsers that allows you to access your project photos across the web on sites like Facebook and Instagram.

More are released each month, so stay tuned to our integrations page to watch the list grow in real time.

4. Referrals

If you remember, our old program was all about mystery boxes filled with CoCam swag. But in the spirit of truth and transparency, our new referral program, CompanyCam Closers, features a tiered reward system where referrers earn cash for referring their network to CoCam.

One lucky (qualifying) Closer will even go home with a brand-new truck!

Our list of features is always growing. If there’s a feature you’d like to see in the future or if you have feedback on our current ones, be sure to send a message to your customer success representative or send us a message.
