From documentation and communication to proposals and payroll, it takes a lot of tools to run a growing business. And our team often gets asked: What other tools could/should I integrate with CompanyCam?
That’s why integrations were the focus of this month’s feature class. Our team dove into a handful of popular integrations, covering what they do, how they work, and why you should set them up.
Watch the class above, or keep scrolling to check out our notes.
Jobber + CompanyCam Integration
Jobber and CompanyCam make it easy to capture details from your job sites and keep your customers in the know.
Once you connect the two platforms, you’ll be able to create a CompanyCam project from a Jobber entry (e.g., Client, Request, Quote, or Job) and sync CompanyCam photos back to your Jobber entries.
As you change the status of your Jobber entry (listed above), the label on your CompanyCam project will automatically update, keeping your work organized and your crews in the loop on what projects they should be working on in CompanyCam.
QuickBooks Online + CompanyCam Integration
Use QuickBooks for your bookkeeping, invoices, and money management? Connect it with CompanyCam!
When you create a new Customer entry in QuickBooks, a matching project is made in CompanyCam and labeled as a “QuickBooks Online Customer.” Once an Invoice is created for that customer, it syncs to the Documents tab in CompanyCam — and labels the project with “Invoice Attached” so your crews can stay in the loop.
Note: Don’t want everyone in your account to see invoices? Navigate to the integration while logged into CompanyCam on the desktop and check “Lock invoices from QuickBooks Online.” That way, only Admins and Managers can see billing details.
Our team is adding photo functionality to this integration as you read this. Stay tuned to your email for updates!
JobNimbus + CompanyCam Integration
Roofers have trusted this integration for years.
With it, you can create CompanyCam projects from JobNimbus Jobs or Contacts, with a corresponding label attached to the CompanyCam project.
Once connected, your sales and production teams can start capturing photos and uploading documents to CompanyCam, which will automatically sync to your JobNimbus file.
Note: You can create CompanyCam projects from JobNimbus Contacts OR Jobs, whichever fits your workflow best. If you have any questions, get in touch with our support team.
CompanyCam Chrome Extension
The CompanyCam Chrome Extension allows you to pull your CompanyCam photos into any site that allows photo uploads — like Facebook, Gmail, and other CRMs (with a couple of exceptions) — without needing to integrate.
This free tool is available for Chrome, Bravo, and Edge browsers, so there’s no shortage of ways to get your CompanyCam documentation to where it needs to go.
Note: We added keyboard shortcuts! You can batch-select photos with Shift + Click to select a range of photos. Use Command + Click to hold your selection and select more photos.
Google Calendar + CompanyCam Integration
This native integration works two ways: You can create CompanyCam projects from a Google Calendar Event or create an Event from a CompanyCam project.
To connect it, you’ll just need to locate and copy + paste your Calendar ID into the integration setup section in CompanyCam while logged in on a browser.
Note: Creating a unique, shared Google Calendar that everyone on your team can access will level up the effectiveness of this integration.
Are you looking for something else? We offer more than 50 integrations with leading sales, review management, and time-tracking software.
If you’re into something a little more unique, we have a lot of triggers available in Zapier, as well as an open API for custom builds.
