If you’re just getting started with MCP-powered workflows, follow these ground rules to help you set expectations and get up and running faster:
- Start with one or two administrative tasks that you’d like to automate (e.g., checklist creation, flagging unpaid invoices)
- Jot down how much time you expect the AI workflow to save you (so you can check against it after implementation)
- Provide as much context as possible and review progress as you go because undoing outputs can be difficult
- Use a paid version of an LLM to unlock better workflows and better protect your personal and financial data
