From materials to payroll, every part of running a contracting business costs time and money. That includes how you collect payments from customers.
Built-in payment processing lets you request and collect payments through CompanyCam. Create proposals, send invoices, and accept payments alongside the project information and documentation you already manage in the app.
How it works
CompanyCam gives you multiple ways to accept payments online and in the field. After setting up Stripe, you can request and collect deposits through any accepted payment method.
Accepted Payment Methods
- Credit cards
- Apple Pay
- Google Pay
- ACH bank transfers
- Tap to Pay
With competitive processing fees (3% for cards and 1% for ACH, capped at $10) and Tap to Pay available without a separate card reader, you can give customers several ways to pay based on the job.
Multiple ways to collect payments
Built-in payment processing lets you request and collect payment at different points in a project. You can collect a deposit from a Proposal, send an Invoice for completed work, or accept an in-person payment with Tap to Pay.
Deposits
After walking a customer through the project details and timeline, you can request a deposit directly from a Proposal. The customer can review the project information, sign off, and make their payment from the document.
Change Orders
When additional work changes the amount a customer owes, document the work and include the applicable charges on an Invoice. Send the Invoice to your customer and let them pay directly through CompanyCam.
Tap to Pay
Tap to Pay lets you collect card payments in person using your mobile device. Customers can make a contactless payment while your team is still at the job site.
- Works with Apple Pay, Google Pay, and contactless credit cards
- Requires a mobile device with Bluetooth and location enabled
- Available on mobile only
