Water Cooler Tips: Sharing Photos

Sharing photos is a super important part of your job as a contractor. Showing people the work you’ve done, whether they’re clients, potential customers, or insurance adjusters, helps people see what you can do and shows that you value transparency.

At CompanyCam, we believe in the power of sharing photos. So much so that we wanted to make it as simple as possible for you to get your work out there.

In this water cooler tip, we’ll cover a couple of ways to share your photos through the CompanyCam app: project timelines and galleries.

Project Timelines

Timelines are a great way to share photos with the client or another contractor working on the project. When you share a timeline, you’re generating a link that you can send and share with anyone you want.

The best part? The link automatically updates with all new photos taken at the project.

Gallery

Open a project, then choose View All. Next, tap Create/Share,” then Share Gallery of Selected Photos.” Select the individual photos from the project you want to share, then click the paper airplane on the bottom of the screen.

Sharing a gallery will generate a link that you can send to anyone via email, text, or another app. This way, the people you share the gallery with won’t get every single photo taken — just the ones you want them to see.

Sharing photos is HUGE, and we want you to be able to keep everyone in the loop, even if they don’t have CompanyCam. Creating timelines and galleries is a great way to do that, so get to sharing!
