JobTread manages your jobs, budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and project finances from one place. CompanyCam captures everything that happens on site.
The JobTread and CompanyCam integration connects both platforms automatically — so every photo, video, and file your crew captures syncs directly to the corresponding JobTread project, keeping your documentation and your financials in the same place from the first day on site to the final invoice.
How the CompanyCam + JobTread Integration Works
Once you connect JobTread and CompanyCam, the integration automatically:
- Creates a CompanyCam project whenever a new Job is created in JobTread, populated with the primary contact, location, and GPS coordinates from the Job.
- Syncs all photos, videos, and files added to the CompanyCam project to the corresponding JobTread project files.
- Transfers tags from CompanyCam photos to the matching files in JobTread — as long as matching tags exist in both systems.
- Updates files in JobTread whenever they’re edited in CompanyCam — including photo markup, annotations, and description changes on non-photo files.
Job Files That Update Themselves
Most construction platforms have a photo problem: the files inside a job record go stale fast. A crew member annotates a photo in the field, flags an issue, adds a note — and none of that makes it back to the project management tool unless someone manually updates it.
With the JobTread and CompanyCam integration, that problem disappears. Every time a photo is annotated or a file description is updated in CompanyCam, the change syncs to JobTread automatically. The project record in JobTread always reflects the most current version of every file — without anyone in the office doing anything to make that happen.
Tags That Travel with the File
JobTread’s budget-first approach means every file in a project should be traceable — tied to a phase, a trade, a cost code, or a scope item. CompanyCam’s tagging system lets your crew categorize photos the moment they’re taken. When both systems share matching tags, those categories carry over automatically when files sync from CompanyCam to JobTread.
That means a photo tagged “Framing — Phase 2” in CompanyCam arrives in JobTread already labeled, already sorted, and already connected to the right part of the budget. Your project managers don’t have to re-tag anything or reorganize files after the fact — the documentation arrives organized and ready to use.
Your Budget and Documentation in the Same Place
JobTread’s budget-first approach means financial transparency at every stage of a project. But a budget is only as reliable as the documentation behind it. When a change order gets contested, a phase gets disputed, or a subcontractor claims work was completed that hasn’t been verified, the photos in your JobTread project are what you fall back on.
Because CompanyCam photos are timestamped and geotagged at capture, every file in your JobTread record carries verified location and time data. Your financial record and your field documentation are always in sync — so budget decisions are grounded in what actually happened on site, not what someone remembers.
